My name is Debbie and I started this sourdough journey to better my health and the health of my family. Over a decade ago I was diagnosed with liver cancer with the only cure being a liver transplant. By the grace of God, I did receive a liver transplant. Due to the damage from my medications and the over processing of the foods we buy, I began developing digestive issues. After much research I found the amazing benefits of the ancient fermentation process of sourdough. Within three weeks of making my own sourdough, I began to notice that I was able to digest better and the stomach issues became less and less. I was eventually able to eliminate two medications from my regiment of pills.
After my findings, I wanted to pass those same benefits on to those in need. It truly blesses my heart to give fresh baked, organic sourdough bread to the shelters and the homeless.
It is my joy and passion to feed others quality baked goods sourced from organic, high quality, ancient grains grown locally because I strongly believe the longevity and quality of our lives is greatly impacted by what we consume.

At Our Daily Sourdough, we offer a wide variety of baked Sourdough Breads, including Flavored Breads, Biscuits, Pastries, Cookies, Crackers, Focaccia Breads and Seasonal Specialty Items. All of our products are made fresh when you order and we use only the best ingredients to ensure that every bite is as delicious as the last.
Our home micro-bakery is registered with the Arizona Department of Health Services as an Office of Environmental Health Cottage Food Program.
Health Benefits
•Digestion: The fermentation process for sourdough bread can lower the amount of non-digestible carbs in the wheat.
This can make the bread easier to digest for people,
i.e. Irritable Bowel Syndrome
•Lower Glycemic Index: Sourdough bread has a lower the glycemic index (54 - helps promote lower blood sugar levels) than commercial bread (71). Commercial white bread contains preservatives and is considered an ultra-processed food. (Source: Cambridge University)
•Healthy bacteria: Sourdough starter naturally contains prebiotic and probiotic bacteria. These nutrients help support your good gut health.
•Nutritional value: Whole-grain breads naturally contain calcium, iron, and zinc. Sourdough bread’s fermentation process helps break down phytates, so the minerals in the bread are easier for the body to absorb.
